Supported System Architecture
HostGator has two different types of system architecture that support the use of CenOS/RHEL versions 5 and 6:
- i386 Architecture
- x86-64/amd64 Architecture
All HostGator Linux servers run CentOS 6 by default. This includes Shared plans, Cloud Hosting, WordPress Hosting, VPS packages, and Dedicated servers.
Custom configurations or operating systems require a VPS or Dedicated server.
